Another thought provoking article in the Daily Mail this Saturday (I am not a regular reader of this or other newspapers, I just read Saturday editions over the weekend!).
I remember reading about these objects a while ago in an old Arthur C. Clarke book. It is a fascinating subject though one I remain open minded upon.
The part that really interests me is the crystal these are made from is similar to that used in computors. Again ,it is a case of the vagueness of conventional science: There are many scientists who would ridecule practices such as crystal healing and the use of crystals in alternative therapies, they would be full of self assured expert opinion that such ideas are fantasy because rocks and crystals could not possibly store information or electro-magnetic energy, yet I would be unable to write or post this on my blog if it were not for silicon storing information in this way.
(As an aside, a ghost investigating group I once belonged to felt that this was also true of some ghost manifestations, that some element within the brickwork of some buildings acted as a recorder that could play back events from the past in specific atmospheric conditions).
So how can anyone with any sense say “oh yes, it works in the case of computor memory, we understand how that functions, but crystal healing?”. To hold this attitude seems very shortsighted and displays a lack of real enquiry, it seems for most scientists half the story is good enough. (not that I would want the scientific community to get their hands on these objects, they are totally the wrong section of the community to go tampering with them!)
So, perhaps, there is some form of computor existant with these strange and fascinating objects.

All fake according to the Channel Five documentory but then in last weeks programme was about The Dambusters and they had CGI of a Lancaster running in on the bomb run with front turret guns blazing. I am pretty sure this turret was operated by the bomb aimer so he would have to be pretty busy to do both. Good to see they had no top turret though, at lest that part was accurate.
