They gathered round the Oyster shell
Some sighed and said “I knew him well”
They mourned the fact that he was dead
Hymns were sung and some prayers read.
Buried now and Dust to Dust
The shell degraded as all flesh must
But the soul eternal will, forever, dwell
For we are the Pearl and not the Shell.

…if you knew her eyes.
Fierce Blue. Then you knew all
I knew. How love grew.
Third stone from the sun
Better to be good tenants
Only stone we have.
Of what use horseshit?
Attend to it, mix it well.
From this roses bloom.

Just a feeling of not having
Not having happiness, not having contentment
Of not belonging….to anything or anyone
Of not being a part of…and of being excluded

A reporter of life and not living
Just pushing back [...]

The voices muffled, distant
Everyone in a bubble and I am on the outside

I see through the eyes of the whole world
I hear the world, feel it, hear the [...]

Here she moves like a lonely ghost
Through beating rain
Switch clicks, fluorescent light flicks
On another grey day again.
The bus is packed, her mind is wracked
With thoughts of what could be.
I ran down the street, dodging the feet
Painfully racing, aimlessly chasing
Her fleeting memory.
The hands turned, the candle burned
The old house fell to black
The shadow was thrown
The grass [...]

I can see clearly now
The dirt clouds of pollution have lifted
I can really see now
How the final solution has shifted
There is a finality now
And none can save me from it
I am dead inside
And if the hat fits then wear it
I have seen a ship called Liberty
Sunk by the weight of greed
I have seen mountains of [...]
